Psychic to try and solve Nicola's disappearance

Psychic Christine Holohan has helped the police in other cases, including the murder of 25-year-old Jacqueline Poole, a barmaid killed in Middlesex in 1983. Christine said that Jacqueline had appeared before her and named her killer. The name was given to the police and in 2000 he was convicted of Jacqueline's murder.

Christine has agreed to help the family try and solve Nicola's disappearance. She has already provided them with some suggestions and is arranging to travel to Coventry from Ireland to look at potential sites.

Marilyn has spoken to Christine on several occassions and sent her a picture of Nicola and one of her jackets. Christine has come up with several new clues:
1) A name - Chloe.
2) A dog called Barney.
3) A scrapyard where major development has taken place.
4) A link to two other murders.

Marilyn said that Christine keeps asking about a Chloe, she says the name is significant.
She also mentions a dog called Barney, and she also talks about a scrap yard with an entrance that was new at the time. There is a wood nearby and some railings.

She believes Nickie was killed by a man who had killed twice before, and that she died because she saw something that she shouldn't have done - involving drugs or something.

We are unable to name the man who we think knows about the disappearance of Nicola, due to legal restraints on the company hosting this website. They would be legally obliged to remove the site as soon as it was uploaded.

However we have decided to reveal information that has never been made public until now. Hopefully this will jog someone's memory and lead to new information (however small) to follow up on.

John saw Nickie for the last time on Friday 13th December at 8pm at their own home. Nickie's boyfriend Jason came to pick her and their son Owen up and take them to stay over at his mothers home for the night. They had planned for a family night in with Jason's two brothers, one of his brother's wife and their baby. To rent a video and order a takeaway meal.

Nickie and Jason had bought a property which had been renovated through out and John intended to finish the last bit of decorating on Saturday afternoon so that they could move in. Nicola was to take the house keys to her dad's house on Saturday morning so he could finish the decorating.

John came home from his normal work at about 12.00 midday on Saturday 14th December but there was no sight of Nickie being there or the keys. Scott's (Nickie's brother) wife Donna rang John at 12.30 asking for Nickie and John said that she must still be at Jason's. Donna phoned Jason's and was told that Nickie had left about 20 minutes earlier.

It only takes 6 minutes to walk that distance and it was a very foggy day so John retraced her steps but their was not any sign of Nicola. After more searching and phone calls the police were notified at 3.00 pm.

Each year Ford Motor Company paint one of their lorries with a picture of a missing person. This year missing persons recommended Nicola. BBC filmed the lorry with Marilyn alongside and it went out on the Midland news last December 2005.

Well done Ford and many thanks.

Missing Persons have their Summer search campaign running from the 15th May 06 to 15th September 06. One of the things they do is T-Shirt campaign where they select 8 missing people and display them on a T-Shirt. Nicola was chosen as one of them.

Anybody wishing to buy a T-Shirt can order them online at www.missingpersons.org

They cost £9.99 + p/p. All proceeds going to Missing Persons to help their daily search for missing people.

Missing Persons also produced a photo of how Nickie may look today

Before
GM TV also covered the campaign. Marilyn and her sister Melanie (Nicky's aunt) went to London and appeared on GM TV wearing their T-Shirts. They discussed the search for Nicky and the affects it has had on her family since her disappearance.

GM TV also showed the picture on the show. As a result of showing the picture of what Nicky may look like today the police received two phone calls. One from Oxfordshire and one from Nottinghamshire. The police told us they were going to follow them up. We have not heard anything back from the police yet.

Thank you and if you or anyone you know have any information however small, please let us or the police know so that we can all put Nickie to rest and end our heartache.

The £10,000 reward is still on offer. Obviously we would like to know what happened to Nickie and who was involved, but finding Nickie's remains is our priority and the reward will be paid to anyone with just that information. The reward can be paid anonymously and in strictest confidence.
